USB Online Information Session in Mauritius

  • 21 AUG 2018

We invite you to discover our MBA
and Future Studies programmes at this
Online Information Session.

Join us for this Online Information Session, otherwise known as a Webinar, where Martin Butler, Head: USB MBA, will discuss what you can expect when you do your MBA with us.

Our MBA has been designed to turn managers, professionals, specialists and entrepreneurs into responsible leaders, expert decision makers, effective communicators and stewards of society. All MBA students also need to do the compulsory International Study Module to enhance their international exposure.

Our MBA is offered in three formats: Full-time, Modular and Blended Learning. The Blended Learning MBA over two years is ideal if you want to implement your newly acquired skills at work right from the start, because you attend one on-campus study block at the start and two on-campus blocks during the second year. In between, you attend weekly classes online (or on campus – your choice!). This format offers increased flexibility as it requires the minimum leave from work. It also lowers the opportunity cost to do your MBA at USB as it reduces travel costs.

Martin will be joined by Doris Viljoen, a USB alumnus who completed her Future Studies programmes, where she will share her USB journey and experiences with you. Doris is a senior futurist at the Institute of Futures Research (IFR) and also busy with her PhD. She says the PGD and MPhil in Futures Studies taught her the skill of discernment and her classmates’ insights was a most enriching experience.

Date: Tuesday, 21 August 2018
Time: 19:00 – 20:00 MUT
Enquiries: Marietjie van der Merwe |

PLEASE NOTE: You have to RSVP to receive the direct link to this online event. You will receive the link via email on the day of the event.

Our Full-time MBA was recently ranked second in the
Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2018 (out of 200 schools).
