Dr Dumisani Magadlela

Dumisani is a Certified International Executive and Leadership Coach based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a certified Coach Trainer, Leadership Development Facilitator, Organisational Strategy Session Facilitator, and Speaker. He is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Leadership Centre for Southern Africa (RLC-SA) for the Barak Obama-initiated Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and the Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF).
He works with the Pan African Capacity Building Programme (PACBP) at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) helping to develop leadership skills for African professionals. He designs and delivers Leadership Skills development sessions (workshops) for clients across the region.
Dumi has been involved in organisational culture development and change, coaching and leadership skills improvement for over ten years. He currently coaches in some of the leading businesses within SA and across the African continent. He has a behavioural science and social development background, and completed the gestalt International Organisational Systems Development (IOSD) programme. He is currently part of senior faculty at one of the leading coaching academies in Africa, the Coaching Centre (TCC), and at least two other leadership and coaching skills development institutions. He uses Ubuntu approaches (I am because we are) in his teaching and facilitation processes.
He lectures part-time, and supervises Masters and Doctoral students in various universities. During 2016, he spent three months as a Visiting Professor at Hitotsubashi University’s Institute for Innovation Research in Tokyo, Japan, where he published a research paper on African Skills and Capacity Building. He is passionate about Africa’s development and is currently working with the African Union towards the achievement of the AU Vision and Agenda 2063. He took part in the inaugural African Economic Platform (AEP) in March 2017, championing stronger Afro-centric regional economic integration and development.
Dumi also works on re-humanising the modern workplace using Ubuntu, building Coaching Cultures, and enabling the development or Transformational Leadership skills within businesses. He has been a regular guest on SAfm radio’s Afternoon Talk programme on Careers Coaching. He is also a regular speaker on the local circuit, including at Leaderex and COMENSA events. He is available for consultations, and for possible full-time employment in progressive businesses, and can relocate.
Nankhonde Kasonde-van den Broek

Dr Nicky Terblanche
Senior Lecturer and Research Supervisor at Stellenbosch Business School
Dr Nicky Terblanche is a senior lecturer and research supervisor on the MBA, MPhil in Management Coaching and PhD programmes at the Stellenbosch Business School. His academic interests include both leadership coaching and information systems. He also runs an executive and leadership coaching practice.
He has an MPhil in Management Coaching, an MScEng in electronic engineering and a PhD in Business Management. His research interests include transition coaching, transformative learning, social network analysis, complexity theory and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in coaching and management. He has published in several international academic journals and regularly presents at international conferences.
