Research Methodology Workshop

  • 3 – 7 DEC 2018

Our workshop combines instructive tutorials in writing code in statistical analysis packages (e.g. STATA, R, etc.) in order to provide hands-on experience in sourcing, preparing and analysing high quality data. You are encouraged (but not necessarily required) to bring datasets you are already working with and through the workshop, develop code capable of helping you execute your analysis.

The organisers are the African Centre for Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB-ACDF) and Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, Sonoco International Business Department, U.S.A.

  • Postgraduate, Master’s and doctoral candidates
  • Post-doctoral fellows
  • Current doctoral fellows
  • Other academics working in this domain

Duration: 08:00 – 17:00 each day

Cost: $250 (R3 500) per participant
