Health Systems Strengthening Research Workshop

  Online event   05 October 2020

Now more than ever, our leaders and experts need to band together towards our society’s health. We have therefore begun an initiative for Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) at Stellenbosch University between the Business School (USB), the School of Public Leadership (SPL), the Department of Economics (Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences), the Industrial Engineering Department (Faculty of Engineering) and the Department of Global Health (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences).

The first project of this initiative is a virtual workshop that aims to:

  • Strengthen and expand cross-faculty research networks of researchers and postgraduate students who strive for optimal healthcare quality and equity in our society
  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary thinking and problem solving in health sciences through sharing research plans and progress
  • Think innovatively about solutions that will work for public and private healthcare users

Join our workshop on the 5th of October, where our guest speakers and postgraduate students discuss solutions towards better and stronger health care for all. The event will be hosted by the Centre for Responsible Leadership (CRLS)’s Healthcare Leadership initiative.

Date:               Monday, 5 October 2020
