Business Dialogue Wednesday, 20 March 2019 Accra
We invited our USB alumni in Ghana to join us at this Business Dialogue networking event where Dr Geraldine Abaidoo, Chairperson of the Ghana Alumni Chapter and Ellen Fayorsey, Partner at Deloitte & Touche, will talk about Ghana’s financial situation and what investors should do to secure their funds.
They will be joined by Gilbert Grant, a business development consultant at Global Natives, a Mauritius based company, who will talk about the USB’s commitment in developing responsible leaders with global insight and a unique African perspective.

Dr Geraldine Gina Abaidoo is the Lead Consultant at FINNET Solutions Limited, a financial consulting firm set up to provide consulting services and deployment of best business solutions to create synergy and business growth for companies within the HODA Holdings. She is a Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK, an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), UK, and Chartered Insurer. She has over 12 years’ experience in the insurance industry of the financial sector.

Ellen Fayorsey is a Partner in Deloitte & Touché. She currently leads the Financial Advisory practice in Ghana and also leads the Infrastructure and Capital Projects service line in West Africa. She has over 15 years’ experience in Advisory Services, and has extensive experience in M&A Advisory services, Business Valuations and Infrastructure & Capital Projects services. Ellen serves as the West Africa representation for Deloitte Women in Leadership on the Africa Committee, where she commits to advancement of women into leadership.

Gilbert Grant is the business development consultant at Global Natives, a Mauritius based company. He has travelled to, and done import-export business in, over 60 countries since 1978 to date. His work experience includes long stints at Executive Director level in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Mauritius, London and Brussels. He was the Managing Director for 11 years, of a Kinshasa-based company, from where he was responsible for business development into new territories in West and Central Africa and also oversaw the sales network in these countries. For another six years, based in London, he successfully delivered on his mandate to expand sales, in West Africa (as well as Gulf states and the Caribbean), from networks established with new suppliers in India, China, and Central Europe.
