USB Accreditations

USB has the triple crown of

international accreditations:

AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA

AACSB accreditation was awarded to USB in 2012 for the first time. The most recent reaccreditation was in 2018 (for 5 years).

The European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD) awarded USB the EQUIS accreditation in 2000. The most recent reaccreditation was in 2014
(for 5 years).

The Association of MBAs awarded AMBA accreditation to USB in 2002. The most recent reaccreditation was in 2017
(for 5 years).

European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration: As an EDAMBA member, USB benefits from the exchange of information and PhD candidates, as well as research cooperation.

USB is one of only three African business schools with an A-rating (5 Palmes, or highest ranking) for “universal business schools with major international influence” from the French ranking agency Eduniversal.

USB is fully accredited by the Council on Higher Education in South Africa.
