Full-time MBA bursaries

USB’s Bursary Scheme provides partial bursaries and financial assistance to a number of deserving students who have been admitted to the MBA full-time programme.

  • Only students who have been accepted onto the MBA full-time programme may apply for a bursary.
  • All the bursaries will be awarded on academic merit.
  • Applicants from previously disadvantaged groups (in the case of South Africans) will be given preference.
  • Applicants must provide evidence of financial need and not be recipients of any other form of study sponsorship (e.g. from their companies).
  • Further terms and conditions apply to each bursary.
  • Every application will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Discover the MBA specialisation streams – HCL and MIO

USB’s MBA has two streams with domain-specific modules – one will allow you to explore the management of international organisations, and the other will give you insight into health care leadership. You may elect one of these streams during Year 2 of your MBA, or you may continue with your generalist MBA modules. It all depends on the leader you would like to become.

Health Care Leadership

Lead positive change in the health care environment

The stream’s modules cover the principles of clinical governance, health care reform programmes (such as National Health Insurance), the policy landscape, health systems for value-based care, and finance and funding in health care
