Western Cape Alumni Chapter: Business Networking and AGM – When no-one is looking

Western Cape AGM        25 Oct 2018       Durbanville

Being ethical is easy when everything goes well and there are no pressures, but in the highly competitive environment today, it is not simple and easy anymore. The recent Steinhoff scandal highlighted how even highly trusted and apparently ethical organisations and CEOs can succumb to the lure of unethical behaviour, with devastating consequences.

Join us for the Western Cape Business Networking and AGM on Thursday, 25 October 2018 where USB’s Prof Arnold Smit and Prof Mias de Klerk will discuss, ‘When no-one is looking: Business ethical compass and practices’.

This talk explore how to make the best use of one’s moral compass to remain ethical in business and build one’s success on an ethical reputation, notwithstanding significant business challenges and many seductions to engage in ethically questionable acts.

TIME: 17:30 for 18:00 – 21:00
VENUE: Ruslamere Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre, Durbanville | Map
