Money matters
The Centre obtained seed funding from the University of Stellenbosch. The Centre is regarded by the University as one of its flagship strategic initiatives and forms part of its Hope Project.
Additional funding is continuously sought from the private sector and from donor bodies. Any organisation that is interested in associating with the Centre through a funded project or anchor sponsorship is welcome to contact the Centre's head.
Additional funding is generated via contract research, the presentation of courses at the Centre, and through short courses offered in collaboration with USB Executive Development Ltd (USB-ED). Additional revenue is earned through consultancy services rendered to the business community and departments of government.
'It is possible to conceive conflict as not necessarily a wasteful outbreak of incompatibilities, but a normal process by which socially valuable differences register themselves for the enrichment of all concerned' - Mary Parker Follett
