The USB's Gala Dinner – its flagship event of the year – takes place in Cape Town on Tuesday evening, 22 May 2012. We will share with you new initiatives that form part of the USB's Social Engagement Programme. The winners of the USB Social Impact Award and the USB Alumnus of the Year Award will be announced.

Guest speaker: San Reddy on social media and social change
Social media has irreversibly changed the way we do business, build equity in local and global markets, communicate with stakeholders and grow reputational capital. At the USB's Gala Dinner, San Reddy, MD of public relations firm marcusbrewster, will discuss how social media is impacting social change. The master of ceremonies at the event is Jo-Ann Strauss.

San Reddy has more than 20 years of experience in the international media. He has also worked as a communications consultant for blue chip companies in various industries. He holds an MPhil in Futures Studies from Stellenbosch University.
