Programme focus

The unique Master's in Development Finance (MDevF) focuses on Africa's growth needs and the sustainable economic development of the continent.

It is aimed at people who are involved with finance and financial management issues in developing countries.

Learning philosophy

Implementing African-driven solutions is the new approach to the economic development of the African continent. Students will be equipped to contribute meaningfully to:

  • Sustainable growth in emerging market economies
  • Financial management
  • Policy formulation and implementation

Structure and content

The MDevF is a Modular programme with 4 study blocks spread over 2 years. The core subjects, electives and presentation of the students' proposals for their research reports are covered in the class contact sessions.
