MBA – English

This Modular (block release) programme over 3 years enables managers to attend the class programme without infringing too much upon their work obligations, irrespective of where they live. Two of the Modular MBA programmes (one in English, and one mainly in Afrikaans) commence in January and February respectively, while another one (in English) commences in June.

Students need to attend 11 blocks (an orientation block plus 10 blocks of 6 days each) on campus over 3 years. The remainder of the 3-year period must be used to complete research reports. The greater part of the class programme comprises individual study. At the end of each block, lecturers set assignments to be completed for the following block.

The structure and content of the Modular course is identical to that of the Full-time and Part-time courses.

MBA modular: January intake (English)
First year (2011) of 3-year programme:

  • Orientation: 26 – 29 January
  • Block 1: 14 – 19 March
  • Block 2: 20 – 25 June
  • Block 3: 26 September – 1 October

MBA modular: June intake (English)
First year (2011) of 3-year programme:

  • Orientation: 1 – 4 June
  • Block 1: 1 – 6 August
  • Block 2: 31 October – 5 November
  • Block 3: Dates for 2012 will be made available later

Note: For the June intake, there are 3 blocks in 2011, and 4 blocks each in 2012 and 2013.
